I love eating salads but there's nothing worse than a dry boring salad... no dressing no fun.
So here's my 5 favourite dressings for salads, rice, beans or grilled vegetables! I never just layer my dressing on top of the salad - instead I put the salad in a big bowl and then stir in the dressing so all leafs and veggies are coated. I like to keep my dressing simple and easy!
Lemon Tahin dressing
1 tbsp Tahin, 1 tbsp water, the juice of 1/2 lemon, 1 clove of minced garlic, a pinch of salt and peber
Mustard vinegar dressing
1 tbsp mustard, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1/2 maple syrup
(Great for kale salads)
Avocado basil dressing
1/2 avocado mashed, 1 handful chopped basil, 1 tsp olive oil, a pinch of salt and peber
1 tbsp miso paste, 1 tbsp water, the juice of 1/2 lemon, 1 tsp tamari
(Great for asian inspired salads and woks)
"Creme fraiche" dressing
1 tbsp neutral soy yoghurt, 1 clove of minced garlic, 2 tbsp chopped chive, a pinch of salt and peber
