Some mornings are just harder than others - I don't always feel like getting out of bed and being active right away - I might be extra tired. On those mornings I try to listen to my body and take it slow. I know that yoga helps my body to wake up and that's why I practice "sitting-yoga" :D Sometimes I do these in my bed and sometimes I just slide out of bed onto my floor but still in my Pj's.
These positions are great for gently waking your body while still getting a good stretch
Hold each pose for a couple of breaths and repeat on each side for 3 times - then move to next pose.
End your morning routine with a couple of sun salutations for maximum energy :D
