Controversial topic.... I know.
I'm not gluten-free because I'm not gluten intolerant. Now, that being said - I am aware that gluten affects my digestive system and I definitely cut out gluten once in a while to ease my digestion and give my gut a break. Try for just 3 days to cut out gluten and see how it makes you feel.
Gluten is a protein made up of the peptides gliadin and glutenin and it is found in many grains such as wheat, semolina, spelt, kamut, rye and barley. It's not necessarily bad for you - unless you're gluten -sensitive/intolerant. More people are sensitive to gluten than you'd think.
Some signs are: bloating, rashes, stomach aches, constipation, gassy gut, feeling tired, skin problems/acne, joint pain.
If you're sensitive to gluten, it will cause inflammation in your body.
